It’s that time of year again and we’re inviting pieces for inclusion in the ever-popular Annual Community Magazine. We’re looking for:
- Christmas greetings: Pass on best wishes to friends and neighbours (45 words max). Please put ‘Seasonal Greetings’ in the email subject header to help us be super-efficient as we put everything together. Send by November 10th please.
- News & Updates: Short articles (about 300 words) that cover any new developments, future plans and information on how people can get involved (where applicable). Images welcomed.
- Articles: 750-1000 words max. These must include images.
- Dyn ni’n croesawu erthyglau yn Gymraeg hefyd!
General points:
- Everything should be sent to rhossilicc@gmail.com
- The deadline for news & updates and articles is November 22nd. This gives us just enough time to put it all together, check it thoroughly and send it to the printer.
- All text must be submitted as a Word file, not PDF please.
- Please send all images as separate jpeg files – please don’t just paste them into the text of your piece. They also need to be good quality so they stay sharp when printed.
- Show us where you’d like an image to be placed in the text by indicating ‘1st image here’ etc. Final position will be determined by editors and constrained by layout requirements.
- Images taken in portrait orientation are preferable because of layout constraints.
- Copies will be available at our Christmas RCC meeting on December 10th at 6.30pm and distributed during that week.
