Many of our local footpaths are overgrown. We have been in touch with Swansea Council about this and they have told us:
“The Council has a backlog in maintenance. We have two local contractors working to clear the backlog and to make sure that the paths are clear and open as soon as possible.
In the meantime, we would ask that anyone finding a problem with a path let us know on Countryside.Access@swansea.gov.uk, and include a photograph and a What3Words location.
The main path from the Worms Head Hotel to the beach is to be significantly improved this autumn. To enable the construction work to be carried out, it will need to be closed for a brief period. The Council is working with National Trust to make sure that this can be done with the minimum of inconvenience to everyone.”
