Christmas has come to Rhossili!

The Community Council was delighted to accept the kind gift of two Christmas trees for the community this year. One donated by Rob Morgan has been erected in a corner of the Church car park at Rhossili and the other, donated by Jonathan Tucker, has been erected in the Village Hall.

Putting the tree up in the car park and then decorating it was a team effort with Ieuan on the loader and councillors Ian Button, Lesley-Anne Nolan and Tom Higgs working to put the tree in place. Tom looked like he was going to be the fairy at the top of the tree at one point – but it was too cold up there!

The tree from Jonathan for Rhossili Village Hall is also in place, expertly trimmed by Vicki and beautifully decorated. Manager Jo said, “Thank you, Jonathan, it is so lovely to have a real tree in the hall and is much appreciated by us all.”

Doesn’t it look lovely against the red curtains!

Thanks to Jonathan and Rob for their generosity.
